2) That's pretty close to how the law already works. In fact, in my home state of Florida, self-defense is the *only* reason you're allowed to brandish a weapon in public.

We’ve also seen alt right folks as well as #antifa and #NFAC wield weapons during protests and demonstrations with no consequence. Is that illegal then?
@realcaseyrollins It very much depends on the state.
That said, however, you'll find that many gun owners, myself included, are opposed to open carry laws that allow that sort of thing.
