1/ I’m sorry for not entering alt text for an image on mastadon.
I realize that this was a mistake and that it made my post inaccessible to people who use screen readers or have low vision.
I understand that alt text is an important feature that allows people to enjoy and participate in online communities without barriers.
I apologize for being careless and insensitive to the needs and preferences of others. I have learned from this experience and I will make sure to always enter alt text
2/ …for my images from now on. I will also educate myself more about web accessibility and how to make my content more inclusive and user-friendly.
I will follow the guidelines and best practices for writing effective and descriptive alt text that conveys the meaning and context of my images. I will also check my alt text for spelling, grammar and clarity before posting.
I hope that you can forgive me for my error and that you will not judge me harshly for it.
