Hey there free speech warriors.

Just a note: if you're defending the abstract principle of free speech while using the repressed speech of Nazis as an example? You're defending Nazis.

If you want to defend the abstract principle of free speech, find a different group whose speech has been repressed to do it. I guarantee you there are many examples.

This applies to any and all abstract principles.

@SallyStrange Strongly disagree. Anyone can defend speech they agree with; that's easy. The whole point of using Nazis as the example is that you don't truly believe in free speech unless you also defend the free speech rights of those who say things you find abhorrent. If free speech doesn't apply to everyone equally, then it's not truly free.

Even the ACLU has defended Nazis in court on free speech grounds.
