Where do you draw the line between AI you like and dislike? My sense is there's a serious disdain for e.g. generative art or text, but not for other machine-learning stuff, like plant ID apps or speech to text software.
@ZachWeinersmith If speech to text is being used when a person couldn't do the job, such as live subtitling for a deaf person, then that's fine. However I've seen really crappy subtitles on some videos that make me think some poor subtitler is out of a job because this terrible attempt at an AI has replaced them.

@olligobber @ZachWeinersmith Yeah, but we had the same problem before that with companies outsourcing the subtitling to countries where that language isn't even spoken, so....
