@siracusa @caseyliss My Honda dealer says my 2020 Odyssey's internal tire pressure measurement system works only after I drive a bit.

This is 'cos (the tech says) the sensors have a "rechargeable" solenoid in them that - by the wheel turning fast for a mile or so - charges enough current up to measure pressure and send it in a low-power RF burst to the in-car computer.

This sounds fishy to me, but oh, well...

@jann @siracusa @caseyliss I don't know the details, but when I got my tire replaced, the dash gave a bunch of pressure warnings. I told the guy and he said "drive on it a while, they'll go away". Two blocks later, he was right. Haven't had a problem since.
