The amount of illustrations for all these christmas posts that are very obviously "AI"-generated (without any declaration) is staggering. These images keep popping up more and more but I hadn't seen it that massively.

The funny thing is not only how similar these images are stylistically ("AI" images just have this inherent boringess) but also how similar they are given everyone uses basically one of what feels like 5-10 prompts. Maybe "you can just create art by writing a few words" isn't all it's hyped up to be when developing an artistic "language", an identity takes years of practice and experience?

It really shows how much "AI can do all these things" only works by cherry-picking.

@tante Maybe they don't need "artistic language and identity" when they're crapping out a social media post to acknowledge a holiday that has nothing to do with their business.
