I'm not sure how much more transparent a statement issued by a publicist could be.
"Buying it" is a bit strong, even if this second-hand quote is accurate. Sounds like "hopeful" fits better. One has to remember that Ye is better-financed than the ADL and has more sheep in his flock. He's "too big to assail," unfortunately.
