I have real mixed feelsing about this. On the one hand, they are turning the #christofascist trick of doing horrible things under the cover of religious freedom against them, by doing something good that these right-wing nutcases find objectionable. On the other hand, for anyone even mildly indoctrinated in #Christianity, using the services of anything with "Satanic" in the name is going to bring back all those sermons about how the devil is a deceiver and evil and wants to take you to hell with him (although if you know what the scriptures say in their original languages that's quite impossible, because they say the devil and the fallen angels are confined to their own place which is not inhabited by humans). Even if they can mentally believe those sermons were all nonsense, it's hard to just cast aside beliefs that were deeply ingrained into them from the time they were young. And if they haven't completely given up on their religion (they may be an #exvangelical but not an #exChristian) they're not going to want to go within a country mile of that organization. To me it's just unfortunate that the people behind this, who are probably very lovely people, chose to use the name of satan for their group. I get why they did it, because it's a big middle finger to the #christofascists and other bible thumpers that have caused so many of us so much grief, but in this context it's still unfortunate because a lot of women who they could help will be inclined to avoid them just due to the name.
That said I have been thinking ever since Roe v. Wade was repealed that "freedom of religion" might be an effective workaround for some of these christofascist laws. I remember readin about a church in the southwest (can't recall the name, sorry) that is allowed to use a hallucinogen (that is otherwise illegal to posess) in their sacred rituals because of their religion. I've said before that if you want put books in libraries that are banned by oppressive laws, make them part of a religious canon and then if anyone objects to them being in a library just say sure, you can remove those as long as you also remove all your Bibles and Christian apologetics, and all the other crap religious books including those (ghost-)written by megachurch preachers and other snake-oil salesmen. It would be kind of a win whatever choice was taken, though you would hope they'd decide to allow all the books to stay.
