I think if we look at AI simply as a new tool, then we will best be able to realize that both benefits and deficits from it will occur depending on how we apply it to do various tasks.

At this moment in time, I would not let AI drive my car. Let it pass the same real world drivers test required of me; then I feel it would be qualified.
