@MessengerFlats I prefer mine with very little oil. But, mustard and spice are essential.

@ppatel A couple of videos were diverse, I liked the one (and agree) I would prefer less oil, but the spices including mustard.

@MessengerFlats Ther There's a premix blend of pickle mix that you can get from Indian grocery places that has, a mix of mustard, salt, cayenne pepper, and asafoetida. I don't recall the brand right now. But don't get the one in the plastic container. It's the one in plastic bags. It's excellent stuff. I use it with lemon juice, a little bit of oil, and water. On Occasion, I even use the mix when cooking vegetable rice.
