Today PNAS published an article that was made possible by a large data set (N>300,000) collected on @labinthewild.

LabintheWild.org is a platform for conducting behavioral research with unpaid online volunteers. People participate and put in honest effort in exchange for information about how they did and how they compare to others.

@kat & I created @labinthewild 10 yrs ago. It enabled a lot of interesting research, some of which we could not have done any other way.
