I have to admit I now feel pretty uncomfortable posting my thoughts on the Bird site. I suppose I always did but now I feel I have an more relaxed alternative to connect. What do you think? Shall I go with my comfort zone or shall I persevere being me over there? You know there is this argument of echo chamber etc etc. Not sure I fully buy into it. It bugs me though that the plan seems to be to kick us out and we're complying.
@nisreen I am staying, but I have several advantages, none of which are fair.
I'm a straight white man, so less of a target for bigots.
I'm not in the public eye, so less of a target and this also means I'm not sought out
On the "plus" side, I think Musk is going to kick everyone out of Twitter pretty soon. By making the site fail.
