I am a pensioner in Luxembourg with the overwhelming majority of my pension coming from the Luxembourg state pension system and a miserable pittance from the UK DWP. I don't pay any tax here as my total pension is just under the tax threshold but I calculated how much I'd pay in the UK and it came to around £2500 pa.
Over here they tax the affluent and in the benighted shithole that the UK has become under the tories, they tax the poor to the hilt!
