How his printer was "bricked" by HP when his inkjet cartridge deal lapsed.
Interesting to note "disabling devices" and "unfair contract terms" are illegal in the EU. Using 3rd party cartridges or letting your contract for replacement cartridge lapse just gets plaintiff bleats - but printer works
Now UK has quit being part of a powerful trading block #brexit - UK gets shafted too!
My Brother laser printer bleats because I fed it with non-Brother toner cartridges BUT it continues to function perfectly.
Incidentally, I would absolutely unhesitatingly recommend Brother laser printers - mine has performed faultlessly throughout its life and, unlike most laser printer manufacturers, it came with full original toner cartridges whereas most manufacturers provide ones that are half full or less when you buy a new machine!
