Years and years back in the 1970s, I was 'privileged' to watch someone who abused any drugs he could steal from pharmacies (in France) mix up a dose of morphine and cocaine with which to inject himself with water he scooped up from the toilet bowl in his apartment; the only source of water in his bedsit!

I have no idea whether he is still alive but I somehow doubt it!
