There simply has to be an easier way of assassinating Prigo than shooting him and the entire group down with an anti aircraft missile.

That is of course if the 'target' was even on the aircraft. How convenient if he sent a body double look alike to St Petersburg allowing him to disappear with all his millions and get Putin off his back once and for all!
He's get the several days it takes to run DNA tests on all the bodies before Putin realises he's been duped and I imagine he will use it to put a fair few kilometres between himself and Putin!
