What #Toronto gets right, why Toronto has 155 languages spoken and comparatively little violence, is that we all became connected through music, culture, and food. Every weekend is a different community’s Open celebration. Every weekend you are able to go eat the best food and hear the best music from a particular community and uniting people by sharing culture really broke down all the barriers.

I have family over in Toronto (probably). One of my mother's brothers emigrated to Canada settled in Toronto and became an instructor at a technical college. He had kids but when my mother died, I lost touch with the whole family.
