So, want to hear a ridiculous story?
1. I cannot currently access the email address that I use for #LinkedIn. I need to change the address. How do I do this?
2. I click on “add an email address.” It sends a code to my old email address, WHICH I CANNOT RECEIVE (see 1.). Does it use my 2FA cell number? Nooo.
3. The help page tells me to pretend I forgot my password, and only then can I click on “can’t access email.” Does it use my working cell number for authentication? Again, nooo. It has me go to a page where I have to upload images of my ID. I do this.
4. It says “Thank you, your account is locked until we can review your ID uploads. We will notify you when this is completed BY SENDING YOU EMAIL.” (See 1.)
5. I try to find a support phone number. It says, “We don’t offer a phone number; log in to chat with support.” I CANNOT LOG IN; SEE 4.
6. So I go over to Twitter to find the LinkedIn help account. What is their answer to everything? “DM US YOUR LINKEDIN EMAIL ADDRESS for further help.” (See 1.)
This is the stupidest workflow design that I have seen in a long time. Did nobody over there do QA testing end-to-end on their workflows? This is basic programming logic. I don’t need to reset my password; I need to change my email address. I was logging in just fine until I followed their instructions and they LOCKED MY ACCOUNT.
I hate it here.

@wendynather Didn't Microsoft buy LinkedIn? No connection, right?
