Anyone knows how to get rid of this dot? Xfce desk environment
The second photo is when I move my mouse on it shows like a file...(I took on my phone)

@Sphinx you could try renaming where xfce keeps it's settings/state (likely somewhere in ~/.config) and see if it persists. if it is gone it's broken settings, otherwise it's likely something else.
someone told me "three dots normally appear when a file is being trimmed"
i think it's a good direction.don't know what to do next
