web2.0 is mostly over for me. i've spent a non-trivial amount of time 'liberating' my data and working more intentionally with tools that are more open. instead of google photos, i now run my own photoprism server. instead of streaming music, i now buy music and run digital copies off plex and plexamp. i don't publish on medium anymore, i just run my own blog. i'm done with companies run by narcissistic dudes. i wish it was easier for people who don't care for servers.
