#chatGPT comes up with lots of factually incorrect answers, but as they are embedded in a perfect human-like conversation, they come across with much more authority. Even with stuff that is obviously incorrect I briefly pause and consider if I'm the one who has it wrong. Very different from a Google search that does not return the right info.
