More Art Talk, Clarification

@SquidPresident@cryptids.online When it comes to art, I don't know. I feel like creatives should create whatever they want.

Trying to write from a different perspective might be one of the most honest ways to try and understand another person- at least, if it's done honestly.

That isn't to say it won't be a failure due to the lack of common elements- but at the same time, it might not be. I feel like a truly great writer might try to really internalize that struggle or pain and impart it onto the page.

Same as a painter or a musician would with their chosen mediums.

That being said, I do understand completely what you're saying and I don't totally disagree. There is a lot- a whole heck of a lot- of western literature written from that very stand point, and I think it be safe to say without looking at actual numbers that the vast majority of western literature is written from that very standpoint.
