A question to any kind #Trans friends out there who want to help this cis man understand a little more.
Mr. Rogers has a song called "What do you do with the mad that you feel." and the last few lines go like this...
"Know that there's something deep inside
That helps us become what we can.
For a girl can be someday a woman
And a boy can be someday a man."
My question is, do you find this offensive or do the words "can be" open more possibilities to you?

@Mrfunkedude I'm not the person this is aimed at, but I do feel it needed to remind people that Mr. Roger's songs are almost all written in the '60s, and he as a human being literally accepted everyone as who they are and loved them for it.
Keep it classy. Mr. Rogers is a good man.
@Surasanji When I read the last two verses I thought "Can be" is an excellent choice of words because it implies you don't "have to be".
@Mrfunkedude I agree. Mr. Rogers accepted everyone. He was just that sort of dude.
