how the hell do you write the present participle of the verb "to grafitti" ??

is it grafittiing or grafitting? or maybe to avoid confusion, you'd write graffittiïng with a diaeresis, and risk looking like a fuckin nerd (or worse, a copy editor for The New Yorker)?

@jacethechicken its an Italian word so you could just look up the italian rules

@wintgenstein but when English steals a word, we never use the original grammar structures -- that's how you get shit like "a laissez-faire attitude."

Also, graffiti was originally a noun (italian: graffito/graffiti) that we verb'd, so it's never gonna work properly.

@wintgenstein

in Italian you'd say i graffiti, she graffiti, they graffiti, we all graffiti after our canoles.

@Surasanji @jacethechicken @wintgenstein

i never pronounce cannoli like cannoli so i misspelled it how i pronounce it but then realized no one here talks to me to get that.

@root @jacethechicken @wintgenstein As long as I'm eating a tasty pastry I don't care how you pronounce it my dear Heleanor <3
