It was discovered that Onufriy and over twenty other priests of the UOC (MP) had Russian passports. It was revealed that Onufriy had obtained a Russian passport in 2002, and in 2019, the bishop of the UOC (MP) and the abbot of the tithe monastery Gedeon were granted Russian citizenship. Journalists have promised to publish a comprehensive list of those from the UOC who possess Russian passports soon.
