The Chernivtsi City Council has revoked the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate's (UOC-MP) right to use 22 plots of land in the Chernivtsi area, which include the cathedral near Soborna Square, St. Nicholas Cathedral, a church on Nezalezhnosti Avenue, the Horecha Monastery and a convent on Bukovynska Street.
