On the night of June 13, the enemy launched a strategic air strike consisting of eight Tu-95MS bombers from the Caspian Sea region and several attack drones from the south. A total of 14 X-101/X-555 air-launched cruise missiles and up to four Shahed-136/131 UAVs were launched. The Air Forces air defense forces and equipment managed to destroy 10 cruise missiles and one attack drone. Unfortunately, one of the missiles hit a residential sector in Kryvyi Rih, resulting in the destruction of a five-story building and the death of some of its inhabitants. In the morning, the enemy launched a second attack from the Caspian Sea with three Tu-95MS, but only one cruise missile reached Ukraine, which was destroyed by Ukrainian air defense.
