Grain deal prevented Ukraine from destroying the Russian fleet

If not for the Grain Deal, Ukraine could have destroyed the Russian fleet by now. Therefore, we need to forget about partial agreements, and ensure the opening of ports for all types of goods. This was stated by the Ukrainian military Roman Svitan.

“We must forget about the word “deal”. Deal only with the devil can be. We need to open ports as much as possible, and not just for grain. What grain? After all, we have something to ship, and the world has something to buy from us. Therefore, to open ports,” Svitan stressed.

According to him, it was only thanks to the existence of the Grain Deal that the Kremlin was able to maintain its fleet.

“The few dozen ships that the Russians have can be sunk in a year. And if there hadn't been this Grain deal since last year, there wouldn't be a Black Sea Fleet this year. It simply would not exist, because it would be possible to work on it,” Svitan emphasized.
