According to Lieutenant General Serhiy Naev, the commander of the United Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Russia has deployed a contingent of approximately 19,000 personnel along the border with Ukraine. In an interview with Ukrinform, Naev detailed that these units in the Bryansk, Kursk, and Belgorod regions are equipped with tanks, anti-aircraft missiles, artillery and rocket systems, air defense systems, and anti-aircraft defense systems.
The enemy forces have been engaged in reconnaissance activities, shelling border areas, utilizing aviation and kamikaze UAVs, and launching missile strikes involving ballistic and cruise missiles. At present, Ukrainian military intelligence has not observed the formation of strike groups, but they continue to closely monitor the situation while fortifying the border.
