Kuleba said that Russia could have built thousands of schools and hospitals with the money spent by Putin on the war against Ukraine

According to Forbes Ukraine, Russia spent about $167 billion on a full-scale war against Ukraine from February 2022 to August 2023. This includes direct military costs and lost equipment.

Kuleba noted that with this money, the Russian Federation could build almost 24,000 kindergartens across the country, or more than 4,500 maternity homes, or about 17,000 schools, or about 1,300 hospitals, or restore 20% of all roads with a hard coating in the Russian Federation.

Instead, Russian war criminals are bombing Ukrainian kindergartens, maternity homes, schools, and hospitals, destroying a total of nearly 120,000 civilian objects, including the latest attack on the Novaya Poshta terminal in Kharkiv.
