Russia steps up attacks on Ukraine while the world doesn't see it, — The Times
The British edition of The Times published an article in which it is noted that "it has been a good three weeks for President Putin in Ukraine."
"These are difficult weeks for Kyiv. As the former British soldier fighting for Ukraine, Mazer Gifford, noted on social networks, these are "dark and difficult" times," the article says.
The author of the article believes that "the Kremlin hopes to take the initiative back into its hands before the onset of winter."
"With American weapons and Western attention suddenly turned to the Middle East, Russia threw more men and equipment into a fierce offensive in northeastern Donbas, in the direction of Kupiansk, in southeastern Donbas, in Avdiivka and Zaporizhzhia, to the north from Tokmak to stop the advance of Ukrainian troops to the south," he writes.
