I want to know how to add people from different walks of life here - such as News, Politics, Art, Culture, Business, Movies, etc? Is it possible? Pl help

For now I’m searching some specific #’s and then randomly following people that intrigue me. I probably come across a creepy stalker already 😂
@ErikaDesign How are you searching for random people? I couldnt even do that
@Tulikaa in the search bar, the little magnifying glass, I type a topic that interests me with a hashtag. And then I just read what comes up. Click on posts so it shows you the conversation, and then I just creepily see if I seem to like that person or not 😂. Read both in local and in federal. Also it makes a difference wether you use browser mastodon or one off the apps. I’m using Amaroq, but if I just log in from the email- sometimes things look different and clearer. Does that make sense?

it does to me: makes a difference I mean. Sometimes when I can’t find a functionality or a location of settings; it helps to look with fresh eyes, see a new layout.
Even the other dreaded social media’s I will sometimes switch between phone and laptop, or go from app to Safari or something. It somehow makes it clearer. I might be weird 😂

@Tulikaa I mean if I log in via the email i received from mastodon after signing up- it uses my safari phone browser automatically. When I log in through the app I use for the iPhone (amaroq) it all looks different . There are more apps to use from as far as I understand.
