A massive uptick in obstructionism and meaningless demands on limited administrative resources from a handful of faculty who oppose inclusive visions of the public interest? Wondering whether the pattern I'm seeing is rogue, grassroots, or coordinated. #academic

This sounds like pretty typical exercise of white privilege and white fragility in the face of change. Seems pretty consistent. If anything, the shortages in admin staff seem to be making this a challenge than an uptick in the "yeah but..."
