i hate cross-posting content because it seems tedious to people who follow me in multiple places even if that is like 2 people and i am deluding myself about how much people care, also it seems inauthentic and not custom for the platform and its quirks and culture but then it’s exhausting to try to maintain different presence on every platform…

@triketora I'm not well versed in this yet, but isn't the idea of the Fediverse that different services that decide to federate can pull in content from other apps? If so, I can see this cross posting problem potentially improving, if more services adopt it.
But I might not know what I'm talking about.
