So the community and leadership are dedicated to stopping whatever momentum can be built to ensure it's a safe platform for everyone. The attitude of the community reflects the attitude of the leadership of that platform.
So many people have talked about this over the years.
@Are0h 💯 And @portmantony many others will tell you the same. One example: there's valuable anti-harassment functionality that Mastodon forks have implemented since 2017 that Mastodon's creator has blocked from mainline code, so isn't available on most instances.
