@lucifargundam Uh just accept and sit there. You know what a catalyst is, don't invest any work. What you are hired for is strictly passive.
@lucifargundam To the best of my knowledge, a catalyst does not do anything actively and does not change itself in the process. Checked back on wikipedia:
Catalysis (/kəˈtæləsɪs/) is the process of increasing the rate of a chemical reaction by adding a substance known as a catalyst[1][2] (/ˈkætəlɪst/). Catalysts are not consumed in the reaction and remain unchanged after it
So, don't do active work, remain unchanged.
You have been asked to be there because the employer believes the others will do more work if you are present :-D
@lucifargundam Since i was so wrong in the other answer i see why you thought that, but i think my point holds here. If someone does work, energy is expended and it is not strictly a "catalyst" because it is not sustainable without replenishing the energy lost.
