My latest novel is Attack Surface, a sequel to my bestselling Little Brother books. @washingtonpost called it "a political cyberthriller, vigorous, bold and savvy about the limits of revolution and resistance."

My 2020 book "How to Destroy Surveillance Capitalism" is a critique of Big Tech connecting conspiratorial thinking to the rise of tech monopolies and proposing a way to deal with both:

@pluralistic Interesting article. Do you think an analogy can be made between this "Surveillance Capitalism" and the kind of surveillance out in the world with cameras and facial recognition? Perhaps similar strategies can be used to counter both. David Brin propsed the idea of "Sous-veillance"; instead of rejecting high tech tools of surveillance, embracing them and using them to watch the watchers. Can the little guy use the tools of the big companies to "watch the watchers" and keep their over-reach in check? I haven't read your book yet, so I don't know the extent of your hypothesis, but I find analogies like this can sometimes help come up with ideas that wouldn't necessarily occur with straight forward thinking.
