Saw someone earlier today describe amateur climate science denial propagandists as "nihilist." That's not very fair to nihilists; while you may not agree with the nihilist, their believe that we're all fucked at least has SOME empirical evidence behind it. Climate science denial guys invariably KNOW they're full of shit, they just expect to SURVIVE the apocalypse somehow - which is far far more delusional than any nihilist I've ever met; even if I don't think nihilists are very nice people.
I'm dead serious; and furthermore as someone who has studied fascism, fascists, and the white sumpremacist ideology that binds the together, I can honestly say it was probably a pretty bad idea to tell nazis who think they're invincible that climate catastrophe disproportionately affects all the people they hate the most. They're slowly turning that into a feature, not a bug, in their fantasyland nazi cracker ethos.
