"Peopling" is such a funny word.

I'm currently writing about the "anting" of the great landmasses of Myrmecos some 180,000 years ago. There are many species of "ant people" but they generally share 3 common ancestors ... and the first to leave the tropical region called Tato and spread over Myrmecos were the many Bull Ants with their large eyes and long mandibles. Then some 120k years ago the ancestors of Carpenter Ants spread over Myrmecos.

@futurebird Are you brainstorming ideas for a book? Because if you are, I would buy it. Sort of like Watership Down but ants instead of rabbits?

@ambulocetus

Yes!

I've been working on chapters and have a "writing schedule" for this summer.

I want to have a clear idea of the world before I dive in, though. It has it's own entire geology, and natural history!

@futurebird @ambulocetus please toot about it when done. My son, future myrmecologist, will absolutely adore it.
