A way Democrats can get *better* candidates is run for smaller offices, and show the promise.
Mayor of Baltimore or New York. State senator in California. Governor of Oregon or Maine.
Like AOC did. Like Obama did. In a center right country, it’ll be increasingly harder, though. Especially if you can’t fund-raise.

Good points, but I'm more worried about Jil Stein and her Green party courting, Mr. West. Jill Stein is a slug. If Mr. West is smart. He will take over the Green party. And, then sit down with the democrats and negotiate support. We've seen where my way or the highway voting almost list the country to a despot. Making a point is less important than negotiating a position.

Honestly, I think the centerline has been moved to the right, not the people. If you pin individuals down, the majority tend to agree with what the left works for. It's all in yhd framing; and needless to say, the corporatist media-infotainment complex needs that centerline as far right as they can to continue their welfare programs for them and the wealthy.

I try to understand why Biden’s poll numbers are so negative. The top reason? “Inflation” or “Economy.”

These are all Republican talking points. I agree that mainstream media is Republican leaning, but it just doesn’t happen that way. Latinos are moving right, too many middle class folks don’t consider abortion as a big deal.

Back in my days at twitter, there was a tweeter who posted a continuously update list of all the GOP campaign operatives, mayors, governor's aides, all kinds of official capacity Republicans involved in sex trafficking, sex with minors, rape...it was just incredible. I think there were over 200 names, complete with newspaper and rapsheet references.
