This evening's sunset is all smoke from the fires north of us.
The air is heavy.
Tomorrow, for me, is RSV, flu, and covid shots if they have the new covid vaccine in stock. I have an appointment at Costco. My husband is to get his next week at the doctor's office.
Today was about getting things done in case I feel like crap tomorrow.
No covid shot for me today. When I got to Costco, they said that the covid shots aren't going to be in stock for another 10 days, so I got flu and RSV.
I will have to keep checking. My regular clinic says it will be a month before they have it available.
@NorcalGma2 Our town drugstore isn't going to carry covid shots & will only do flu shots as usual because the owner/pharmacist believes covid isn't a thing.
@CodieneC @NorcalGma2 About 15 or 20 years ago, I found a store with very cool products that I had been looking for, but the radio was playing Rush Limbaugh, so I turned around and I left and never returned to this day.
If that was my local drugstore, I would drive 20 miles out of my way to go to a different drugstore., even for one postage stamp.

I have a strange Rush Limbaugh story. When I was a department store buyer in the 80s, our advertising department got free tickets to everything.
I had never heard of Rush.
He had a show at a very small venue coming to town. I had been given tickets but wasn't interested so I gave them to my daughter who went. It scared her half to death. She couldn't believe the level of evil and left pretty quickly.
I had to apologize to her because I didn't know better.

@NorcalGma2 @ambulocetus Closest ones are 30 & 45 miles away so may as well just drive to the city (90 mi), get vaccinated then spend night at a daughter's place for a free meal :p
@CodieneC @NorcalGma2 yea I guess that's a little too far to go for everyday items, but I hope you at least have some convenience stores that are close. That guy deserves to go out of business.
@ambulocetus @NorcalGma2 A woman who has decided that she will make the healthcare decisions for the community & those around us. Who also complains when people get their prescriptions, etc elsewhere instead of supporting local but holds the contract for the local health centre so #gofigure

It was a monolog in a small auditorium. Just him ranting at the audience and interacting with his fans. It had to be the late 80's.
