If you are native English speaker, a great exercise you can do
when you have non-native speakers on the team is to realize
how much effort they do to speak your language + the merits
of doing it at that level. Imagine yourself discussing
technical things in Spanish 😁
@jorge it's worst when you have to lead the meetings, refinements and all and you thought internally "why I look so dumb ☹️, I'm smarter than this!"
@aracem yep, it's hard 😆 sometimes you're super lucky to have some very empathetic teammate that notices this and starts speaking slower and asks you questions so you can participate. But that's not common. Normally people forgets.
