What really gets me is that the book would already be in the public domain if it hadn't been for all the extensions to copyrights that were added in the 2nd half of the 20th century. Currently it's something like the life of the author + 70 years, or almost 100 years for a work for hire.

So, instead of entering the public domain in 2010, it'll be 2083. (Since Bradbury died in 2012?)
