Today I Learned that blocking someone on Discord doesn't prevent them from seeing your messages. Wha?!?

@jeffrizzo It also doesn't stop notification / unread indicators.
So, it is pretty useless.
@jeffrizzo Yeah. For that exact reason, even the "--- Blocked Message ---" text is annoying.
It's like Discord said: "what is the least useful way we can implement this function?" Put all their ideas on the whiteboard and then said: "let's do that!"
There is one server I still use block extensively, though. It at least helps me scan the channels for interesting questions.
@baldengineer Sigh... all I wanted to do what improve my signal/noise ratio a bit. Some people just Have To Respond To Everything...
