Well... just found out that my role is being eliminated at $dayjob. Not actually being laid off at the moment but things are being reorganized. And honestly I'm struggling to see where I fit into the new org.

I'm seriously considering leaving modern tech altogether and see if I can make a go of it in repairs and mods. Might try to reach out to some folks for advice.

Did not see this coming when I got up this morning.
