@CapitalB CCC is defunct since more than two years. imo, the breaking point was the influx of "progressives" into the events like congress which resulted in things like a post-it-penis being a big deal because "diScriMinAtiOn" and the organizers not laughing about it but creating a shadow council of people who can kick you out at a whim.

But there was a phase especially during the Trump years where they were more active than before. No wonder they colluded with the commies in 2020 and supported the covid cert and app. And no word we ever heard from them.
For me, just for me, I also think a lot of really fat nerds are scared shitless for months bc of their risk profile and want it to stop. They know.

the unconditional support of the organized german hacker community for almost every of the measures is a disgrace, especially the digital stuff. this should only be handled with paper based methods. they should be on the barricades about the idea of a vaccination register, but will probably be the ones to implement it.

fun thing is, the fat hacker is a bad meme. i've seen far more extra slim ones because they forgot to eat :)
in the end the covid stuff was good, because now we know who can be trusted not to act like a psychopath (hint: not many). was a good filter for me.

@bonifartius otoh that filter has to be digested by each and every soul. Acceptance is hard. And you can bet that the zerocovid-guys think the same way whom to trust.
I first thought the test of the decade is Trump. Who can still talk about what the US and its MilindComplex does and who just shuts down bc Orange man bad.
