There's a mole in a similar spot on his face, and the general (physiognomy?) is similar, but in all the official photos I can find, the hairline on the side of his head is much further back than the prisoner's.

Ears are fairly different. Unless there's some aging voodoo I don't know about, it's not him.

I don't think the Internet randos that first claimed this were trying to lie, I think they just jumped the gun and didn't look closely enough
@dave IMO "not looking closely enough" is equivalent to lying. you are just a propaganda multiplier then. goes for both sides of course.
it's just utter bullshit everywhere, even the decision making is based on bullshit. not new though, irak had weapons of mass destruction.
