💧 really wish ppl had more imagination for timelines than "fully chronological timeline without significant user customization" and "fully algorithmic timeline without user customization"
like why can't i cap the amount of posts i see per user per day, including customizing them for each of my follows?
where's my RSS-style daily/weekly feeds for each user i follow, with posts sortable by various factors incl engagement numbers?
from my understanding, the server softwares cache info of various posts that it receives from activitypub. why aren't we using this smh

@bonifartius 🔥️ I'm a burnt out former lead billing engineer who is kind of done with this whole "computer" business for the time being.
I'll need to find a way to overcome the intimidation that comes with not having contributed to many FOSS projects.
