i went through some "choose your fedi instance" lists and none of them lists qoto anymore. pretty good litmus test for insanity tbh.
are there any sane lists left, aside from crawlers? there are people i know who like to join fedi while also like to think for themselves..

@McMongoose i'm looking for a place for a relative. i guess it should have _some_ moderation, i just don't want them to open twkn and be greeted by degenerate pr0n, MAP and other shit. totally unfiltered just isn't the right thing for everyone.
the closest to what i look for them are the "boomer instances", no agenda, freeatlantis, etc.. not totally unfiltered firehose of madness, not woke capital. just mostly sane free conversation and some shitposting.

Misskey is also very very nice but sadly I know next ti nothing about the misskey landscape so my default answer would be shitposter.club
