@ambulocetus total bs to then divide at the half of the "rich" scale and not the emissions scale. it's playing 90% of people against each other.

@bonifartius The chart for the US and the chart for the entire world look very different.

@bonifartius Even the poorest folks here in the West are over the 50% point. Probably higher than that, but I'm not sure how much.

@ambulocetus i think the cutoff is somewhere between 80 and 90%. mind that members of the top 10% currently try to coerce the bottom 90% into giving up their standard of living to fix the climate - with questionable effect because there aren't as big reductions possible in those regions. all while said top 10% just continue their lives and laugh about how dumb people are.
